There is a drawing & description in your Haynes Manual in the chapter on 'Driveshafts'. It is cut from 1/4in. - 6.5mm sheet steel or a washer with a Diameter of 50mm & a centre hole of 25mm. Don't use anything thinner as you will not be able to pull the CV joint tight. Eamonn.

Thanks for all the kind words. Hope that I can survive as long as he did - 86 is a good innings and, except for the last 2 years, he was very active. He was still climbing ladders to paint the gutters and any other DIY job that needed doing around the house. I'll Miss you Dad.
